Are your guided tours available in ASL?
Yes. Illuminated Adventures is Deaf-led, and all guided tours are available in American Sign Language (ASL). We welcome Deaf, Hard of Hearing, hearing and mixed Deaf/hearing families and groups. Tell us about any communication or accessibility preferences when you contact us.
How do I book an adventure?
Do I need off-road driving experience?
Not necessarily. We can help first-time and experienced riders choose an experience that matches their comfort level. Guided adventures include an orientation before departure, and guests should never attempt terrain beyond their ability or comfort.
What machines are available?
Our launch fleet includes the spacious
Honda Pioneer 1000-6 Deluxe for families and small groups and the
Honda FourTrax Recon for a solo-rider experience. Visit
Our Fleet for current details.
Are you offering rentals or guided tours?
Guided adventures are our primary public offering. Rental availability is more limited while we launch and grow the fleet. Contact us with what you have in mind and we will tell you which options are currently available.
Where do your adventures take place?
We are building experiences throughout Idaho's Magic Valley and beyond, including mountain and backcountry destinations. Exact routes depend on season, conditions, group needs and the experience you select. See our
Destinations page for featured areas.
What should I bring?
Dress for changing mountain weather and bring closed-toe footwear, water, sun protection and any personal medications or necessities you may need. We will send trip-specific recommendations during planning because conditions can vary considerably by destination and season.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. Mountain weather, trail conditions, wildfire restrictions and other conditions can change quickly. If conditions make a planned route unsuitable, we will work with you on the safest practical alternative, which may include a different route or rescheduling.
Can you accommodate families and groups?
Yes. The Pioneer seats up to six and is well suited to families and small groups. Tell us the ages and number of people in your party when planning so we can make sure the machine and experience are appropriate for your group.
Are helmets or other safety gear required?
Safety requirements can depend on the rider, machine, route and applicable rules. We will explain the required equipment and riding expectations for your specific adventure before departure.
Will I need to sign a waiver or release?
Yes. Participants will be required to complete the applicable waiver/release and safety acknowledgement before the adventure begins. We are finalizing the Illuminated Adventures form now; it will be made available here once completed.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
Our final booking, cancellation and weather policies are being completed as we prepare for launch. Until then, we will explain the applicable terms clearly during personalized planning and before you commit to a reservation.
